| DAY 4 | Big Nose Kates Saloon | |
Today involved a lot of driving, lunch break at the Space age restaurant.
Ians Jupiter burger hit the spot, with a drizzle of chilli.
My lunch comes with a drizzle of Coors Lite.
Next stop Saguero National park West, home to my favourite cactus.
The temperature hovered between 100 and 109 degrees.
These awesome cactus always make me smile, many of them giving a cheery wave.
A short stop at the Ez-Kim-In-Zin view point, bit too many steep steps for me, so my assistant travelled up and waved !
We took the Bajada scenic route and stopped for a short stroll, it was lovely to speak to mum & a sleepy Hollie.
These splendid cactus are doing a formation disco dance.
Many of the plants are blooming currently.
Visit 3 to the Trailriders Inn, this time room 11.
A short walk to the main road, we chose "Big nose Kates" for our evening meal, live music & an enormous salad for me, Ians calzonne confused him as he was expecting a regular pizza.
The Massive Beers are blurring the edges, so send a search party if we don't blog tomorrow!
